New ‘Hot & Crispy Fries’ now come with guarantee
Wendy’s is continuing to step up its fry game. Customers who are not satisfied with their fries can now exchange them with “no questions asked,” according to the fast-food chain.

The new policy — which the company has dubbed its “Hot & Crispy Fry Guarantee” — will be in effect as of Oct. 13.
“If a customer gets an order of fries and they don’t think they’re hot and crispy enough, or they’re not satisfied with those, they should hand them back to us and we should be happy to give them a brand-new fry in exchange,” Kurt Kane, Wendy’s U.S. President and CCO, told Yahoo Finance.
Wendy’s fry guarantee comes on the heels of the company introducing fries it says remain hotter and crispier for a longer period of time.
The company says the new policy is a way to “double down,” on their new fries, which the company has dubbed “Hot & Crispy Fries.”
“We know customers deserve better than the cold, soggy fries they’ve been receiving at competitors. That’s why we’re committed to delivering hot and crispy fries with every single order,” said Wendy’s U.S. Chief Marketing Officer Carl Loredo.
A new batter system was used to create Wendy’s Hot & Crispy Fries, which the restaurant says took four years to perfect and involved experimenting with more than 20 different cuts and shapes.
Kane told Yahoo Finance that he is very pleased with the new recipe and claim the new fries have received widespread support from Wendy’s franchise owners.
“We have a lot of our franchisees together this week and they’ve all had the chance now to try this fry and to be able to experience it themselves…the amount of excitement and enthusiasm for just how good it is, is really unmatched with anything that I’ve seen during my six years with Wendy’s,” Kane told Yahoo Finance.
Wendy’s new Hot & Crispy Fries are available nationwide and can be ordered with a Hot & Crispy Fry Guarantee via drive-thru, mobile order, or contactless pickup, the company says.
