Jinko Solar, a global leader in solar technology, continues to make strides in sustainable energy with its innovative zero-carbon modules. These advancements represent a significant leap forward in both efficiency and environmental responsibility, reinforcing Jinko Solar’s leadership in the renewable energy sector.
Produced in TÜV Rheinland-certified zero carbon factories, Jinko Solar’s N-type tunnel oxide passivated contact Tiger Neo modules reflect the company’s commitment to reducing emissions at every stage of production. The TOPCon modules also showcase groundbreaking efficiency improvements, which are poised to transform the global solar energy market.

Carbon-Free Production Leads the Way

Jinko Solar’s Neo Green solar panels are manufactured in facilities certified for zero carbon emissions, making them a milestone in environmentally responsible production. The Zero Carbon factory certification underscores our unwavering commitment to sustainability,” the company announced earlier this year. This certification reflects the use of renewable energy in production and the company’s ability to achieve net-zero emissions in its manufacturing processes.
The initial production capacity for these modules has already reached 5 gigawatts annually, ensuring their widespread availability in the market and making clean energy solutions more accessible worldwide.

Solar Efficiency Reaches New Heights

Efficiency is at the core of Jinko Solar’s latest offerings. The Tiger Neo III module, featuring advanced TOPCon technology, achieves a remarkable 24.8% efficiency. “We continue to find different ways to integrate more capabilities into cells to achieve a higher level of efficiency and productivity,” said Dany Qian, global vice president of Jinko Solar. The modules include innovative features like MAX light trapping, edge passivation for half-cut cells, and HOT 4.0 technology, which collectively push the boundaries of solar performance.
The company’s technology road map is ambitious, aiming to continue toward its goal of 28.7% efficiency, in the future through integration with perovskite tandem structures. This continuous evolution in solar technology meets the current demands of utility-scale solar projects while also setting new standards for residential and commercial installations.

Jinko Solar’s Global Expansion

Jinko Solar’s efforts extend far beyond manufacturing. The company is rapidly expanding its footprint. Among these developments is Jinko Solar’s first Middle East factory, focused exclusively on TOPCon technology, which is set to commence production in 2026.
“We’re providing customers a platform to integrate increased productivity with increased reliability,” Qian noted. This global expansion aligns with Jinko Solar’s strategy to make renewable energy more efficient, affordable, and accessible across all markets.

Innovation That Reduces Costs

The efficiency advancements in the Tiger Neo III enhance energy production and also deliver better cost performance for solar developers and investors. “The benefits to density, power, and performance outweigh the costs associated with it,” Qian explained. The modules’ ability to improve kilowatt-hour generation per kilowatt installed makes them highly appealing for high-performance applications, including utility-scale and distributed generation projects.
The increased energy output from these modules directly translates to a lower levelized cost of energy, making them a practical and sustainable choice for long-term solar investments.

Aiming for Greater Breakthroughs

Jinko Solar remains committed to pushing the boundaries of solar innovation. With plans to iterate rapidly on each breakthrough, the company aims to maintain its leadership position in the renewable energy market. “Moving from 22.3% module efficiency in 2022 to 24.8% today shows a greater than 10% increase per generation,” Qian highlighted. The ability to deliver consistent improvements ensures Jinko Solar stays ahead in a competitive and rapidly evolving industry.
Beyond efficiency, the company is exploring new back contact technologies to further enhance module performance. While these technologies are still in development, Jinko Solar’s research and development efforts ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.

Advancing Global Energy Goals

Jinko Solar’s contributions to clean energy are critical as the world accelerates its shift toward renewable sources. By aligning its products with global sustainability goals, the company not only strengthens its market position but also contributes to reducing carbon footprints worldwide. From its zero-carbon manufacturing to high-efficiency modules, Jinko Solar exemplifies how technological advancements can align with environmental stewardship.

Defining the Future of Solar

Jinko Solar’s focus on zero-carbon manufacturing and cutting-edge efficiency has set a new benchmark in the solar industry. With its Tiger Neo modules, the company delivers a compelling combination of environmental responsibility, superior performance, and cost efficiency. These advancements pave the way for a cleaner future and reinforce Jinko Solar as a major player in the realm of global renewable energy innovation. As the company continues to push technological boundaries, it is clear that the future of solar energy will be defined by such forward-thinking efforts.
