For over two decades, the International Business Association has been bringing together entrepreneurs, executives, creative producers, industry experts, and specialists working at the intersection of business, technology, and creativity. The association creates a professional international environment, promotes the development of cross-industry projects, and supports experts whose activities have practical value for global markets.

One of the association’s members is Mariia Sobol, a fashion production expert, specialist in organizing fashion shows and visual fashion events, author of the FVP Method (Fashion Visual Production) methodology and educational courses for the fashion industry.

– Mariia, your professional career is an example of combining creative vision and production in the fashion industry. What is the key advantage of this approach?

My professional path was shaped at the intersection of creativity and systematic work with processes. I have always viewed fashion production as both a creative endeavor and a complex process (structure, planning, team, and many other factors). Since childhood, I have worked on the full cycle of fashion projects, creating ideas and bringing them to life. Creative vision is the main driving force for me, the thing that makes me wake up in the morning and fulfill my potential in life. I create strong visual solutions and implement them in practice, and most importantly, my clients, colleagues, and everyone around me like it. It is this understanding that allows me to work with brands, teams, and platforms on a professional level and achieve predictable results.

— The International Business Association is known for its strict selection criteria and high requirements for the professional expertise of its members. What was the process of joining the IBA like for you, and what does membership in this international community mean to you?

The selection process at IBA is multi-level and based on professional reputation, experience, and actual achievements. Candidates must have proven expertise, practical experience in the industry, completed projects, and recommendations.

In my case, the key factors were my work in fashion production, the implementation of fashion shows and visual fashion events, the creation of the FVP Method and educational programs used by industry professionals, as well as my ongoing work on the development of professional standards in the fashion environment and, I hope, my creative thinking.

For me, membership in the IBA is recognition of professional expertise at the international level. The association brings together professionals who work on large-scale projects. The IBA has allowed me to gain new experience from leading experts in both the arts and business, and since the fashion industry is closely intertwined with these fields, such experience is invaluable.

— You work in the fashion industry and are the author of the Fashion Visual Production (FVP Method) methodology. What areas are you working on today and how do you see the future development of fashion production?

My work focuses on the development of creative visual production in the fashion industry. Today, I am working on fashion shows, fashion presentations, visual brand presentations, and the development of educational programs for industry professionals. My goal is to help the fashion industry work in a more organized, efficient, and predictable way, combining creativity with clear processes, but at the same time leaving room for creativity. In the coming years, I see the rapid development of fashion production as a separate professional field with clear standards, structured processes, and a growing role for creative teams. I strive to constantly set the pace for the development of fashion production in the beauty industry by managing a professional team and creating new creative solutions.

Mariia Sobol’s experience demonstrates how creativity and a professional approach can work together and produce tangible results in the fashion industry. Membership in the International Business Association confirms Mariia’s expertise and opens up opportunities for international cooperation, exchange of experience, and implementation of practical fashion projects.
