ITsavvy leverages holistic technology solutions and a passion for client service to be one of the best IT firms in the nation
The challenges of the past three years have driven nearly all businesses to rethink their technology strategies, often under hyper-accelerated timelines. From maintaining a remote or hybrid workforce to transforming the front and back office, all organizations have turned to technology to drive greater client engagement and experiences. “This has been one of the most exciting times to be leading an IT business,” said ITsavvy CEO Munu Gandhi. Founded in 2004, ITsavvy has been on a strong growth trajectory as a leading national IT infrastructure solutions and comprehensive value-added resale firm.

Consistently recognized as a client-focused provider in the space, ITsavvy, under the leadership of Gandhi, is on a mission to deliver holistic solutions through a frictionless client experience. Key members of the ITsavvy leadership team, including Gandhi, have spent a significant portion of their careers on the client side, leading large, global technology organizations and delivering large, global technology solutions. “When we speak with our clients, we're not speaking at them – we're speaking alongside them because we've had to do what they are doing today,” said Gandhi. “In doing so we have a different level of perspective, understanding, and empathy for what they're going through. That insight enables us to lean in with our clients through their journey – from initial design, business case development and sourcing, through implementation and operational support.
The $430 million technology infrastructure solutions provider serves enterprises, commercial firms, SMBs, and the public sector across four infrastructure verticals: cloud and hosting, network and security, collaboration, and hybrid workforce/anywhere learning. ITsavvy’s strong partner ecosystem and subject matter experts design strategic, common-sense IT solutions to serve clients’ greatest opportunities and deepest pain points.
ITsavvy’s 525-strong workforce focuses on creating and enabling frictionless experiences for their 4,500-plus clients. “We want to understand what our clients’ business needs are and how they translate those needs into their technology strategy. Then we design and deliver holistic solutions that can provide the entire business outcome,” he said. Team members are cross-trained on ITsavvy’s services, have end-to-end knowledge in products and implementation. Client Executives are trusted advisors and client advocates that serve as a single point of contact for client needs throughout a project, irrespective of the size and scope.
“Clients do not want five technology vendors to do one job. They want one partner who can sell them the hardware and software, have it delivered, get the hardware racked, stacked, and cabled, configured correctly, and have the infrastructure managed 24/7/365,” he continued. “With the holistic solution capabilities we have developed, we feel great about our overall strategy to deliver our client’s business outcomes.”
The ITsavvy growth journey from their roots as a reseller to the powerhouse they are today has accelerated through strategic acquisitions, the latest of which is INOC, a global, enterprise managed services provider that delivers network operations center capabilities.
“INOC was a partner of ours, and when we had the opportunity to acquire them, we were beyond excited,” Gandhi enthused. “INOC has been in the business for well over 20 years. Prasad Ravi and Prasad Rao, the founders of INOC, built AI operations platforms before people talked about AIOps or thought it was cool.”
INOC’s latest platform, Ops3.0, enables ITsavvy to support cloud & hosting, network & security, and collaboration infrastructure. The platform leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to deliver automation that drives optimal outcomes on behalf of their clients, such as improvements in mean time to resolution. The acquisition added 200 colleagues to ITsavvy’s workforce, most of whom are engineers.
ITsavvy’s brand new Integration Center, built out of a 2021 acquisition of a device life cycle services firm, supports 650,000 devices, such as laptops, tablets, and Chromebooks. The addition allows them to provide end-to-end device life cycle management from the hardware sale, through asset management and configuration management. That includes all of the service operations and service warranties, including deploying, logistics, warehousing, and returns, all the way to secure, sustainable disposal.
The 2022 acquisition of enfoPoint Solutions and the team led by Mark Robinson, a Juniper value-added reseller, enabled ITsavvy to become the Juniper Global Partner of the Year in the AI-Driven Enterprise category. “The three acquisitions we have made in the past couple of years have enabled us to create significant client value. We will continue to acquire strategic capabilities that enhance the ITsavvy platform.”
There’s been plenty of organic growth as well. “In parallel with our acquisition strategy, we will continue to build in-house capabilities as we have with field services, which has grown 30x over the last three years,” Gandhi revealed. “Field services supports device life cycle services, our intelligent edge strategy, as well as multi-cloud enablement.”
The company has made significant investments in technology to improve their performance, including a new ERP system, and an AI-enabled marketing engine. “That's been phenomenally helpful for us as we think about client engagement and creating new go-to-market opportunities,” said Gandhi. “We have implemented intelligent automation so that we can continue to do more on behalf of our clients and scale appropriately. We are shifting our entire organization to leverage AI so that we can be more engaged with and responsive to our clients,” he noted.
Of all the company’s advancements, the CEO is proudest of the deep and strong talent bench they’ve built over the years, and the culture it thrives in. In 2022, ITsavvy achieved the Great Place To Work certification. “We all have a choice about where we work. We spend so much of our lives at work that we want it to be a great place that our colleagues enjoy. We're really proud of earning that certification.” He added, “We have a phenomenal organization. We were founded on a culture of hustle, one in which we were going to out compete the biggest of the big and the smallest of the small, and everyone in between.”
That drive, coupled with their dedication to fostering long-term relationships grounded in empathy and understanding, has made ITsavvy one of the fastest growing businesses in the nation. As Gandhi put it, “Over 19 years and the growth from zero to $430 million and from two people to 525, our ethos, that hustle mentality, has never left us.”
