America’s most lucrative company is the multinational tech company Apple, with a market cap of $961 billion, the sixth highest-grossing company in the world. Other countries with the tech industry taking the lead include South Korea, whose biggest company is Samsung; Luxembourg, whose biggest company is Spotify; and Finland, where Nokia takes the crown as the biggest company.
Within Europe, the Oil and Gas sector is leading the way as the highest-grossing industry with companies such as Enel (Italy), OMV Group (Austria) and EDP-Energias (Portugal) taking the lead.
The United Kingdom’s most lucrative company is HSBC Holdings with a market cap of $175 billion.

Countries including Albania, Bahrain, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, and many more all have banking companies as the biggest in their countries.
Other big brands you might recognize but not know the country they are most dominant in include, L’Oréal which is most dominant in France, Alibaba in China, Nestlé in Switzerland and Shell in the Netherlands.
