CES 2026 was an audacious adventure, spotlighting AI’s role in sports and fitness. From AI-powered insoles, wellness monitors that go beyond sweat tracking to poop and piddle analysis, to predictive imaging that looks at a selfie to determine how long you’re probably going to live, this year’s event was nothing short of wild. Here are some of our picks of the freshest athletic performance enhancers from the show.

Urtopia Fusion GT

urtopia (1)

Legendary product designer Hartmut Esslinger collaborated with Urtopia to wed elegance with extreme engineering in the world’s first dual-motor, dual-battery e-bike. The Fusion GT uses integrated sensors and AI to optimize motor assistance based on a rider’s pedaling efficiency and heart rate. The dual-drive front and rear motors drive an extended range of 200 kilometers. Fat tires and a 100-mm travel air suspension fork ensures comfort on any terrain. CES 2026 Innovation Award winner.

Amazfit Helio Glasses

Purpose-built for runners, Zepp Health’s lightweight glasses combine essential eye protection with a minimalist heads-up display that projects real-time pace, heart rate, and navigation directly into the user’s field of vision The early-stage concept glasses are built with impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses and designed to be water- and sweat-resistant. The glasses can be controlled by integrated frame buttons or a paired Amazfit watch, with battery life that lasts for a full marathon.

‍Smartan Injury Prevention Platform

SMARTAN (1)

This AI-powered platform uses computer vision via standard smartphone cameras to perform real-time biomechanical analysis. It identifies risky movement patterns that could lead to injury; pilot programs demonstrated a 42% reduction in sports injuries. The platform is designed to reduce the 8.6 million sports injuries that occur throughout the world every year – 80% of which are preventable with proper technique and early intervention, which is exactly what Smartan’s AI delivers in real-time.

ORPHE Insole

orphe (1)

These professional-grade smart insoles translate everyday movement into laboratory-quality biomechanical data, using edge computing. Each insole integrates six pressure sensors and a six-axis motion unit, sampling plantar pressure data at up to 200 Hz. Users can view live 3D heat maps of their body balance, weight transfer, and gait patterns via Bluetooth Low Energy technology. The system features on-device machine-learning inference, recognizing eight distinct motions including walking, running, and squatting without needing a cloud connection. CES 2026 Innovation Award winner.

Shokz OpenFit Pro

shokz (1)

debuted an adaptive, ear-specific noise reduction system engineered for the challenges of non-sealed listening. A triple-microphone array and proprietary algorithms account for differences in ear shape, fit, and ambient conditions, enabling accurate in-ear noise detection and precise cancellation. Dolby Atmos and dynamic head tracking provide an immersive, spatial listening experience, and the ergonomic earhook design and Ultra-Soft Silicone™2.0 ensure a secure, pressure-free fit for all-day wear in any weather conditions.

Hypershell’s X Series

hypershell (1)

battery-powered exosystems boost muscle performance during running or heavy lifting. Built with aerospace titanium and carbon fiber, these units operate in extreme temperatures from –20° to 60° C with IP54 weather and scratch resistance. A 10-layer composite waist belt and tapered leg straps eliminate hotspots and maintain secure contact during movement, and their intelligent recognition system supports 12 modes that cover 80% of outdoor scenarios, adapting instantly to any movement.

Throne One

throne (1)

Co-founded by John Capodilupo (co-founder of Whoop fitness tracking technology), Throne’s AI-powered computer vision technology tracks hydration and monitors gut health. Using a camera and microphone that hangs from the side of the toilet bowl, the tech is designed to understand a user’s base state to identify when that pattern changes, such as the frequency, texture, and volume of bowel movements to show how diet and stress effects the body.

NuraLogix Longevity Mirror

longevity (1)

The company’s patented cloud based Affective Ai™ Platform- DeepAffex™ contactless blood pressure measurement technology can measure over 100 health and wellness parameters using any smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Using population health studies, their Longevity Index scores each wellness indicator from zero to 100. Rapid results identify factors that impact long-term wellness, including cardiovascular disease risk, metabolic health, heart health, physiological age and mental stress.

Edge Sound Research
