Airline manufacturer Airbus has partnered with Italian supercar maker Pagani Automobili to create a new jet with an interior so luxurious it will feel as if you are flying inside one of Pagani’s multi-million dollar carbon fiber hypercars.
Airbus revealed the interior for their ACJ319neo (nicknamed Infinito) —during the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition.

The Airbus jet is designed to cater to those who prefer traveling in optimal comfort and style.

“In bringing together the best of the supercar and business jet worlds, we enable an elegant and seamless link for customers of both, while bringing a fresh approach to cabin design and satisfying very demanding standards, said Managing Director at Airbus Corporate Jets Benoit Defforge.

The Interior
The private jet is designed with sleek glass walls to accentuate floor to ceiling lighting stretches and separate the cabin sections. The glass also has the option to be made opaque. Almost every inch of the interior is comprised of carbon fiber, wood, or leather—much like a Pagani Huayra. It boasts a lounging area with a large TV and plenty of legroom, a full bathroom with a shower, a dining area for six, and a bar.
What sets this private jet apart is its one-of-a-kind “sky ceiling”. For obvious security reasons the ceiling is not made of actual glass, but rather a massive display designed to simulate a marvelous view of the skies above. Or any of other images the passengers prefer, for that matter.

The concept is meant to give the passenger an infinite sense of airlessness and space.
“Art and science can walk hand in hand: that is Pagani’s philosophy,” explained Pagani Founder Horacio Pagani. “The combination of top-level composite materials in an aircraft, such as carbotitanium, with Pagani Automobili’s typical design language, represents our company’s signature. applying our renaissance touch on Airbus’s spacious corporate jet booths is the beginning of an exciting adventure for all of us.”

Cost and Capacity
The Infinito features the latest in aerodynamics and ultra-efficient turbofan engines. The jet is designed to function at airports with rough conditions, such as high heat, short runways, and high altitude.
Additionally, the A319neo is able to transport up to eight passengers a span of nearly 7,800 miles—that’s 15 hours non-stop. For all of this, the Airbus A319neo itself—minus the Infinito interior—costs a whopping $99.5 million.
