Nike and SKIMS have launched NikeSKIMS, a women’s performance and lifestyle brand with 58 styles across seven collections as WWD115 describes. The line is presented as a “system of dress” offering more than 10,000 combinations for sport and everyday wear. Nike President Amy Montagne called it “a bold evolution in how women experience sport and style.”

For SKIMS, valued at $4 billion, the collaboration brings performance credibility and global scale. The launch generated $6.1 million in media impact value and debuted with Bodies at Work, a campaign featuring over 50 athletes including Serena Williams, Sha’Carri Richardson, Jordan Chiles, Chloe Kim, Nelly Korda, and Kardashian.

For Kim Kardashian, looks at the launch of NikeSKIMS as a cultural statement. “NikeSKIMS’ Bodies at Work film celebrates every woman’s strength and power. Our mission is clear: to redefine women’s activewear without compromise,” she explained in People article.

Voices of the Athletes

NikeSKIMS was built with athlete input, and their reactions show how the line delivers both performance and personal expression.

  • Sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson emphasized the confidence the apparel gives her. “Wearing NikeSKIMS makes me feel confident and unrestricted. I feel fierce knowing I can look and feel this good while working hard.”
  • Tennis champion Serena Williams described her experience in simple terms. “It feels like butter on your skin. I feel unstoppable when I am training in it.”
