Aroundtown has received a building permit to work on the Hafenstraße 51 office tower, located in the Frankfurt City Centre.
The building permit is the beginning of a revitalisation process of the office tower, which has 19,000 m² of real estate in the 88m tall building. It is located in a prime location inside the city centre, located next to the Main Central Train Station.
22 floors in the office are planned for modern office spaces, with an entrance area, additional event space, and an ambitious “Skylobby” for the 19th floor also to be created.
Rethinking Modern Structures and Technology
The building is being entirely rethought in terms of usage and structure as part of the reconstruction process.
From Spring 2023, the facade of the building will be entirely refitted with new elements. All of the technical features inside the building will be rearranged and renewed to create optimal floor planning. It’s estimated this will create 860 m² for each floor to facilitate the design of sustainable and modern office areas.
The goal of the company is to obtain a LEED Gold Certification after construction has been completed.
Design and Location
The office tower is going to be designed to be welcoming to all the guests and tenants of the building. There will be a central reception and a bright, inviting entrance. The ground floor is going to be open on both sides, and there will be modern F&B facilities to give visitors reason to stay. Furthermore, a sustainable outdoor design space will be created with green seating areas to maximize enjoyment.
The property is located in the city centre of Frankfurt, and is next to the central train station for the city. The Westkreuz motorway, airport and trade fair centre are all accessible quickly due to the placement of the building.
